Modern Warfare Hardhat map is coming in season 3 as confirmed by Joe Cecot, Infinity Ward’s Co-Design Director of Multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has its own original maps like Shoothouse and Khandor Hideout
but Infinity wards keep adding the revamped version of maps from the past Call of Duty
titles so that players can enjoy the old maps with the new game.
So far there are a total of three old maps added to this 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
game and those are, Vacant, Shipment and Rust.
Hardhat a veteran fan-favourite map was also confirmed to make its way into the game
during the ongoing season, 3 but the official date was never mentioned but now the game’s director has officially announced “When Modern Warfare Hardhat is coming”

When is Hardhat map releasing in Modern Warfare?
On May 8, a twitter user asked Cecot when fans can expect the Hardhat remake. In reply, the Infinity Ward developer says that it will be coming as part of the “mid-season update”, and that he’s “excited too”.
Now when is Mid Season? well Modern Warfare Season 3 went live on April 8 and is expected
to end on July 3, meaning the midseason is in the 2nd week of May, and the most suitable
date that we know so far is Tuesday, May 12, as Modern Warfare’s biggest patches tend to be published on Tuesdays.
As of now there are no images or anything about the new Hardhat map, but back in Modern
Warfare 3 the map was darker than 2019’s Modern Warfare and they may want to tweak that
too.
The hype for this map is very high because it is a fan-favourite map since it was released back in Modern Warfare 3 and players are eagerly waiting to play their favourite map once again.
Also, the Cecot’s confirmation, says that we can also expect the new Gunfight map, called Aisle 9, to also drop as part of the mid-season update.
