Ultra Beasts are the new addition to Pokemon Go along with Mythicals and Legendaries which were introduced recently in-game.

As of now, there is only a total of six Ultra Beasts available in the game that trainers can catch.

What is an Ultra Wormhole in Pokemon Go?

Ultra Wormholes are portals that appear at Gyms in Pokemon Go and allow Ultra Beasts to travel into our world. They’re pretty much the same as Raid Eggs but will always lead to an Ultra Beast encounter.

If you want to find an Ultra Wormhole you need to visit the Nearby menu and look out for the portal symbol. And when the timer ends, whichever Ultra Beast is featured in the Raid Boss schedule will appear in its place.

In the Pokemon Sun & Moon on the Nintendo 3DS, there was already an Ultra Wormhole that allowed Ultra Beasts to travel from Ultra Space to the Alola region.

What Ultra Beasts can you find in Wormholes?

So far there are six Ultra Beasts in Pokemon Go: Nihilego, Pheromosa, Buzzwole, and Xurkitree first appeared during Pokemon Go Fest 2022, while Celesteela and Kartana were introduced in September 2022.

These Ultra Beasts are not going to be here forever so there might not be one available every time you encounter a wormhole.

How to catch an Ultra Beast in Pokemon Go

After you locate an Ultra Wormhole and an Ultra Beast emerges from it then the process after that is very simple.

You just need to fight just like you do for Legendaries, but in order to win you’ll need a strong team and multiple trainers to team up with if you want to win.

After defeating an Ultra Beast, you’ll be provided with a limited amount of Ultra Balls to throw. There is no guarantee that you’ll catch one, but you can use Excellent Curveballs and Silver Pinap Berries to help.
