Shi No Numa now has a release date, and we have a few details about what to hope for when it goes live.

Vanguard fans have been clamoring for a true, round-based zombies experience – and they’ve eventually gotten their demand.

Sledgehammer Games already delivered a taste of the round-based action in an unlockable portion of Der Anfang, but fans snappily decided that they wanted further more than what the restricted- experience could give.

Now, nearly six months after that update, the full-sized Shi No Numa battleground is on the way with a new name and modernized look.

So what is Swamp of the Dead, the modernized version of Shi No Numa release date?.

According to the developers, the mode will be arriving in the game on June 22 alongside Vanguard Season 4.

The first announcement of the mode under development came back in April when one of the developers announced that they are working on a full round-based mode.

As for what’s new this time around, the details are being kept enough well under wraps, but given how distinctive Vanguard and Black Ops III are, it’s safe to assume there have been some meaningful changes in this part.

For the uninitiated, Shi No Numa appeared in the franchise back in World at War and was the first map to take players into the depths of WWII-era Japan.

The mode is set in the Rising Sun facility, the classic battleground was of one the mode’s biggest successes in its original appearance and has since been part of both Black Ops and Black Ops III.

This is the only round-based experience declared so far, but rumors are formerly swirling of another map being in progression, so fans would do well to keep their eyes peeled over the approaching weeks.
