Is Asmongold really quitting Twitch as a career? In his announcement video, he has clearly stated that he has no intentions to quit Twitch career.
In the video, he also admits that he has thought about it from time to time but there is no reason to quit Twitch ever.
Last year in August 2021, he asmon took a long extended break after he admitted that he might quit Twitch and that he was dealing with mental issues also.
But, things were still not going right, after a short period of time from his return to streaming he lost his mother tragically due to health issues and he went on another break. However, he did made a comeback on his second channel and has been there since ever.
In January 2021, Asmongold made a statement about quitting Twitch, he said that the thought of quitting twitch as a career still crosses his mind from time to time but he won’t “really ever quit” and detach himself from the internet completely.
“Would I ever consider changing careers? I think that changing focus is really a better way to say it,” said Asmon. He explained that he’d focus more on making OTK content rather than quitting. “I can’t imagine a world where I’m not making content.”
That doesn’t mean he hasn’t thought about it, though. “Whenever I’m not happy with my stream, or I’m not happy with something, I always think about quitting.”
“I never actually think to myself that I’m actually really done. I always think to myself that I am just taking a break or whatever. Because I can never really quit.”

Asmon has also told his fans about why he took streaming as a career and if it wasn’t for streaming then he might probably end up doing nothing.
