Valve has officially confirmed that all Half-Life games are now free on Steam and anyone can access them.
Recently, Valve confirmed that there most popular game “Half-Life” all series will be free on steam as a part of Half-Life: Alyx pre-promotion.
This free to play game bundle on steam will include:

Half-Life games free on Steam

According to Steam Forums Valve is going to release a new bundle in the near future and all of these games will be free-to-play not “Free to own” for next 2 months or until the release of Half-Life: Alyx.
This announcement was posted on January 20 and was immediately deleted, maybe because of some schedule error.
The announcement was posted both in English & Spanish language and it was looking pretty legitimate. Well, if it was legit or not, we are going to find it soon – Half-Life: Alyx is set to release in March 2020.
The alert says the collection will be free until the launch of Alyx. Well, it is still unclear what this new bundle will include or even there will be any new bundle or not?.
If Valve releases a new bundle then as par our knowledge along with Half-Life sequels there will be some DLCs and Multiplayer extras added to the bundle.
And this is not the first time that Valve is giving huge discount on Half-Life games, as after the release of VR version of the game, both games were available at a price range of $1, so this can’t be a fake alert or something like that.
Anyways we gonna find it soon as if it is legit then the free acquiring of the game should start in one or two weeks or maybe in a couple of days.
