Cs 1.6 is a first-person shooter game developed by Valve corporation, Released in 1999.
Counter-strike 1.6 was the final major software of the game to be received.
The game was different as there were many modes Deathmatch, casual and competitive.
the game was set in various locations called “maps”.

Players were to play the role of two different organizations.
1. Counter-terrorist: Combating team of the government counter-terrorist force.
2. Terrorist: Terrorist militants opposing counter-terrorists.
Each round of the game was bound to two minutes and with an objective for both the sides.
The only way to win the round was to either complete the main purpose of the map or eliminate the opposing group.
At the beginning of each round, each team is allotted some time to buy weapons and throwable for themselves.
Each player can customize their inventory with the currency earned last round.
The objective of each map was dependent on the type of map.
Most of them were these three:
1. Bomb Defusal: Every map starting with the name de_ comes in this pack. The purpose of those maps was like:
For the terrorist, it was to plant the bomb on either of two bomb spots named “A” and “B” and defend it from CTs,
While the task for Counter-terrorist was to defuse the bomb planted by the terrorist.
2. Hostage rescue: In these maps, Counter-terrorist plays the main role by rescuing Hostages captured by the terrorists.
3. Assassination: One of the CT is chosen as a VIP and to be escorted by CT to a nominated place.
