On March 23, players from all around the world reported Lag, disconnection to Blizzard’s Battle.net servers, saying Blizzard servers are down.
Although, some players are saying they are unable to connect while some say the process is taking to much time.
The issues started at around 7:30pm PST for March 23, with players reporting disconnects from pre-existing games, as well as abnormally long login queues.
However, at the time of writing this article, Blizzard is aware of the issue that Blizzard servers are down and investigating the issue.
“We’re currently investigating an issue affecting our authentication servers, which may result in failed or slow login attempts.” – said Blizzard in their tweet.

The problem is with two main games’ servers “Modern Warfare” and “Warzone”.
Other than those, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Battle.net and other games server seems to work fine.
One of the main reasons why it happened can be because of all this isolation process going on.
Because peoples are connecting to these servers are more than these servers ever handled.
Each and every gaming company is seeing a spike in their traffic due to self-isolation and lockdown.
